Overview

With 15 years in product design, a Master’s in data science, and two years of hands-on experience building Tana systems for myself and others, I design solutions that are intuitive, efficient, and future-proof.

The Process

1. Discovery Call:

   • We begin with a short discovery call to determine if we’re a good fit and decide which tier of service best meets your needs.

2. Orientation Call:

   • Once you decide to move forward, we schedule an in-depth orientation to dive into your challenges, goals, and key workflows. This sets the stage for a workspace that’s perfectly aligned with your requirements.

3. Building Phase:

   • Every client has unique needs, so each experience will be unique. But I typically develop two workspaces in parallel:

     • Workspace A (Playground): A collaborative environment where we test ideas, experiment with tags, commands, and AI, and you are able to provide me continuous asynchronous feedback.

     • Workspace B (Production): The final, fully optimized workspace built from your input. For complex projects, a check-in meeting during this phase ensures we remain aligned on your vision.

4. Final Walk-through & Hand-off:

   • Once the work is complete, I guide you through every feature and provide clear documentation, ensuring you can act with confidence in your new system.

   • Depending on your needs, the depth of the build, and any possible privacy concerns, the final deliverable could be any of the following:

     • a workspace set up as a set of "modules" designed to be migrated to other workspace(s),

     • a workspace that is optimized to perform as a "satellite" workspace that other workspaces leverage, or

     • a brand new account that is handed over to you.

5. Follow-Up Meeting:

   • After you've used the system for a bit, we'll schedule a follow-up session to answer any questions and perhaps make minor adjustments, ensuring your workspace continues to serve you well.
